Spending Too Much Money? Google’s Budgets Will Save You

13

If you use Google Drive at all, you might be surprised to find that you can import tons of user-created templates and tools that can make your life easier and set you on the path towards success.

But did you know that Google provides several templates of their own for you to use? Indeed, when creating a new spreadsheet in Google Sheets, you’ll find templates for a Monthly Budget and an Annual Budget — and they’re both excellent.

The nice thing about these templates is that Google has done all of the work for you: the formulas, the layout, the aesthetics, etc. All you have to do is input your numbers and the spreadsheet will tell you everything you need to know.

For the Monthly Budget, you’ll need to create a new sheet for every new month that rolls around. You can then feed that information into the Annual Budget, which you only need to create once per year. Very easy, very helpful, very effective — especially for getting out of debt!

Supplement these with some basic personal finance knowledge and one or two podcasts that’ll help you save money and you’ll soon find yourself in full control of your finances.

How do you like these budget templates? If you don’t like them, what do you use for tracking your finances? Let us know in the comments.
